Token Utility & Purpose

Transactional Utility:

Grafi tokens serve as the primary currency within Grafilab, facilitating transactions between users purchasing processing power and operators providing computational resources.

Mining Reward:

Public operators, future batches of private operators and stakers receive daily rewards from the Mining Reserve over 12 years, Starts with a 1% monthly emission rate, decreasing by 0.6% each month until the reserve is depleted.

(Daily Mining Rewards is not applicable to Exclusive Private GPU license holders)

Governance and Participation:

As Grafilab transitions to a DAO, GRAFI token holders gain governance rights, allowing them to propose, discuss, and vote on platform changes, reinforcing the decentralized nature of the ecosystem.

Staking:

New operators must stake GRAFI tokens to participate, aligning their interests with the platform's goals. Staked tokens also serve as security against misconduct, with potential penalties for deviations or malpractice.
